7:54 a.m. Yesterday we had someone come in and test the efficiency of our house.

I don't think we needed anyone to come in to tell us we have a cold house. Wouldn't you think that having a stockpile of blankets around the house indicate the temperature?

So on a scale of 1 to 100 (1 being a house with a frame and 100 being air tight), our house is about a 35. Maybe 40. Apparently the house has no insulation - except for my room, the newest addition to this 1920's home.

I still love this icebox. It's home. For some reason it has really good vibes, or ghost, my aunt says.
Whatever the reason, I'll be sad when mom and auntie make the final decision to move (they've been talking about it for years...).
