4:20 p.m. It was a rather tame weekend, as most have been lately, but it was great.

St. Paddy's Day wasn't overly exciting. I ended up meeting up with Matt and some of his work friends (RIMfest!) at Front Row. Yeah, not exactly the most festive place, but we called it the place where Molly Bloom rejects congregated. Oh, I suppose the servers in their cute short skirts were festive (albeit none too swift - orders were mixed up immensely).

I had asked Matt to bring his old blackberry so I could pretend I was emailing people because, as per usual, the people we were with toyed with their bbs at the dinner table. But, he forgot.

Side note: Matt and I had a mock arguement about his bb obsession. He claims he's not addicted (says he's better than most RIM employees), I claim otherwise. It's a never-ending dispute - a fun one to argue.

I digress. Drinks were consumed but I wasn't getting my buzz on. A few of us went back to Matt's place for more drinks. Twas an early night, but I didn't complain.

Saturday Matt and I made a trip to Glidden's to pick up some paint. We spent the afternoon and early afternoon painting. End results? Very cool. I was happy that I was able to convince him that BLACK isn't a good colour for one's room.

It was funny to watch Matt repaint the areas I did (which most of it). I just sat on his bed and watched, giving him the arched eyebrow that said: well, well, well...not good enough for ya, eh!?. No words were exchanged but I now that he must do the final touches...perfectionist, no?

Matt and I talked a fair bit about 'us' and the future, the M word and the future prospect of having children. To use his word, the conversation was amazing. We're both on the same wave length (want to be together/kids=yes) but we're in no rush. All I can say is that I'm really fucking lucky in the relationship department. Really, really, lucky.
