3:39 p.m. For the past month, my work had a competition among its staff. The deal was to attend as many Group Ex classes and bring as many members (or non members, right Julia!) to the classes.

Yours truly managed to win the prize: 50 bones! I haven't won anything for a while so this was quite exciting.

Speaking of money, I think I'm going to ask for a $1.00 raise on my 3 month review. The cap for this job is only 2 more dollars than I currently receive so I know it's in the budget (the last person was making it anyway). And I think I deserve it. My plan is to clean up the joint and show that I'm worthy of every cent.

I've been sitting regularly in interviews (the place is jinxed) and have contributed thoughts and comments. I've managed to clean the inbox from 800 emails to 500. I've caught up on the inventory and supplies that everyone's been crying about. Jen's repeatedly said that she's grateful for what I've done so far. I figure $1.00 isn't a huge jump as it may appear. We'll see.

Jobs. I happened to open the classifieds yesterday and guess what I found. The same stupid job posting for the Record's Event Assistant. I can't believe it. My aunt asked if I was going to call the contact person about it. I couldn't find the business card and figured that was a sign anyway. I did have satisfaction that the ad was in again.

2 more yeehaws till Manda's bday outing. Should be grand!
