8:23 a.m. Conservative minority was our best shot given the Liberal's fast decline. Sure, if NDP went on to win that would've been amazing. But that's just a political dream. For now.

But really? The Conservatives were gaining some serious ground during the second half the election and I feared a Conserv majority.

Watching the polls coming in I was at the edge of my seat. The wavering numbers at the bottom of the telly was driving me crazy.

Back-to-back minority rule shows, perhaps, Canada's dissatisfaction with the government system. Liberal's got spanked. Conservatives aren't trusted enough to be a clear winner. NDP is gaining ground. Although Harper's ruling, he has to do it with cautious manouvering. There's no way the Liberals and NDP will let the radical stuff slip in. Harper's no saint.

This minority result isn't as bad as it could've been. And due to the unstability of it, another election might prove another winner. It might smarten up the Liberals. We'll see how long it'll last.
