12:44 p.m. Today's a really good day.
Well, yesterday is when it started.

I'm staying over at Matt's place when at 7:30am his roommate knocks on the door to let us know the phone's for me.
It's my mom. Still groggy, she plays a msg on the machine for me.

I have an interview with The Record.
Tomorrow. 10am. Events Assistant.

I.need.this.job.

Last night I went over some typical interview questions I found on the internet years ago. Have written out my responses. Feeling quite good.

Now I have to impress them as much as my resume did!

After work I called a travel agent for trips to the caribbean. Told her that Matt and I want to leave Oct 22 for a week of hot, beach, fun-ness.

Today, we've confirmed that we're going to Varadero, Cuba. Now, I know everyone and their mothers go to Cuba. Unfortunately, the places I wanted to go (DR, Jamaica, Aruba, Panama) were sold out.

So the resort's called Beaches Varadero. All inclusive goodness. Pretty water. Disco. No kids!
I'm like Summer Feeling from Miriam Toew's novel A boy of good breeding (I think). I'm so excited I could flap my arms!
