7:34 p.m. Blind dates can work. I'm a living testament (as oppose to a dead one...?).

It started all innocently enough: a msn conversation with Manda, sprinkled with our standard daily routine habits. Then came the question: would you consider going on a blind date?

Moi? Of course!

I got his picture. I liked. Received the msn history of the conversation between Manda and him. I liked. I broke the ice with a cheesey email. He was in San Fran for work. A little get to know you via email. Nothing new for me exactly.

From upon meeting things clicked. Like clickity click, click. Did the traditional date: dinner, movie, ice cream, and an awkward goodnight kiss.

Plans to meet again. This time a day-time date to the butterfly conservatory. He later told me he was a little skeptical of the plan but admitted to enjoying himself immensely. Dinner at Ethal's. Movie at his place. A kiss to seal the night, and to 'make up' for the first one.

Cute.

Plans again...a dancing date. I secretly told myself he's a keeper if he's willing to dance. Not the drunken grind with an imaginary poll sort of dance. Dance with steps: salsa, merangue, latin...he taught me the basic tango steps. I taught him the east-coast swing. We laughed ourselves silly. We hugged.
He asked what I was doing the next night. Nothing, I shrugged. Tentative plans again. Jokes about seeing each other 3 days in a row. Oh my!

Sealed with a kiss. Longer. Sensual. Nice.

Now I feel like I'm in high school all over again waiting for his arrival.

*sigh*
