7:40 p.m. With my serial dating routine, you'd think I'd acquire the skill to understand boys.

Nope. Not even close.

There's a trend that I'm experiencing: the one date wonder. I've mentioned this phenomenon before. Since the new year, I've been on 3 really great dates. Fabulous, all three of them.

Of the three, the first two I never spoke to again. The third, which, incidently WASN'T an internet date, I'm not sure what the outcome will present.

During my exciting day at work Monday, I flipped through an old Cosmo and came across an article about the seriousness of a third date. I'm thinking 'wow, a third date!'. The first is supposed to be the initial 'get to know you phase'. The second is just to reinforce the attraction between the two people...and the third is the date that suggest things could become more serious...long term.

Now, internet dating's different. For the most part you already know the person you're meeting. You're meeting because you want to find out if there's chemistry.

Chemistry's important, we all know that. I've met boys with whom the chemistry was drier than the sierra desert. But that wasn't the case with some. In fact, the chemistry was quite good.

So, now I'm thinking, did I imagine the chemistry? Was it all a charade?
Hmmm, no idea. I wouldn't think, as reinforced by sunshine, that someone would kiss me out of spite.
I mean, I wouldn't kiss a guy, on a date (drunkenly, yes...I have no shame) that I wasn't interested in. Maybe boys are different?

I dunno.
