2:35 p.m. Oh fan-tas-tic-o! I have developed a new addiction (no, not internet boys...that's old) to chocolate covered almonds.

I'm not even menstrating and I have a chocolate kick going. And with these little buggers, it's hard to say 'ok, just one because one is all i really need'. Ok, a handfull...just one...

My mom finally went to the doc's today to see what the dealio with her back. She thought she might have picked up something in Nassau. Oh you know, a kidney infection.
Turns out she pulled a muscle in her back. All's well, I suppose.

She's going in for tests, though, because her periods are so extreme (and well, she shouldn't be having much of 'em now...) and the doc's concerned. I think the women in our family are jinxed.

Still not in the Christmas spirit...yet. Maybe next week I'll be in the mood. I actually plan on baking something. This could be a fright. I can smell the burnt cookies already.
